The Apprentice
Wow what a show! It's got me glued to the TV every Wednesday evening. It's probably the best pantomime I've ever seen! It's got all the characters you need, yet not one so far seems to be ideal for the kind of job on offer, but then again I suspect they chose the competitors more for the entertainment value on TV than for any real skill or expertise they may have.

A New Tax Year, A New Budget
Gordon Brown's latest budget was todays big news - nothing too exciting and for once nothing that drastic to affect small businesses.
It's a shame that the only change to stamp duty was to raise the lower limit by £5000 - what with the millions going towards shared equity schemes it seems a bit of a joke to only up the limit for stamp duty to £125K when the average house price is now over £200K! Oh well...

Property
I've recently been looking at the property market with a view to getting involved in property development and property investment. One key aspect that seems crucial in the current market is to buy at the best possible price. To do so means finding motivated sellers such as those facing repossession, divorce or wanting a fast house sale.
